The President of the University Participates the students of the Medical Group and Agriculture in an Iftar Party

This evening, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda participated the students of the medical group and the students of the College of Agriculture who live in the Hostels Departments in an Iftar party in the College of Medicine. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Atheer Anwar Shareef, the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs and the deans of the colleges of medicine and agriculture, in an atmosphere of tranquility, familiarity and love between a father and his students.

This was announced by Assist. Prof. Dr. Salam Abed Fayadh Hassan Al-Fahdawi, Director of Hostels Affairs who said that Iftar meals for students of Hostels Departments are considered an annual tradition for which the Presidency of the University pays great attention and they are complements for all services and other aids for students. These meals include all the complexes of Hostels Departments inside and outside the university campus.

After Iftar, the president of the university listened to students’ opinions and their needs emphasizing on those in charge of the Hostels Departments to implement the required services within the allowed housing instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

At the end of the meeting, the students of the Hostels Departments thanked the president of the university for his interest in them and pledged to do more scientific efforts for the service of their university.

The Iftar was attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Anas Majid Shahouth, Assistant Director of Hostels Affairs Department, a number of professors, the Social Research Division official, the follow-up officer, and a number of supervisors.
