Prof. Dr. Taha Ibrahim Shabeeb, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities visited the college students who live in the Hostels Departments this 30th day of January, coinciding with the start of the first semester exams. He was accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and members of the College Council. They were received by Dr. Anas Majid. Shahouth, the assistant director of Hostels Affairs to inform them about the college students' housing.
When the Dean met them, he welcomed the attendance of students, expressing his hope to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of scientific communication, reinforced by saying that today's meeting is a meeting of a father with his sons who represent a promising future, and this is a responsibility that rests on everyone because its output is the product of the university and its advancement. He talked about the role of the hostels departments’ employees in following up the achievements and removing obstacles, as well as providing adequate and suitable housing for male and female students in the Hostels Departments.He affirmed that this can only be achieved through concerted efforts, joint cooperation between students, supervision and their efforts to provide what is best. In return, students must abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding housing in Hostels Departments.
He appreciated the role of the Director of the Hostels Affairs Department, Dr. Salam Abed Fayadh Hassan Al-Fahdawi and the members of the Hostels Departments. At the end of the visit, the Dean of the College thanked the Assistant Director of Hostels Affairs and the hostels departments’ employees for their cooperation in giving this visit a success.
