A Delegation from the Hostels Departments of University of Samarra Visits the Hostels Departments of University Of Anbar

A delegation from the Hostels Departments of the University of Samarra visited this first day of December the Hostels Departments in our university headed by Mr. Moath Ahmed Hassan, the assistant director of Hostels Departments, to see the progress and development it has reached, especially after the university was liberated from terrorism and for the purpose of exchanging experiences in the field of work of Hostels Departments, where They were received by Assist. Prof. Dr. Salam Abed Fayadh Hassan Al-Fahdawi, Director of Hostels Affairs Department, who in turn briefed them on the history of the Hostels Departments in our university with a short summary, then to what our university was subjected to, including the Departments, during the period of the terrorists’ entry into it and the period of building that followed at the hands of the university presidents so that the advancement and construction continued during the reign of the president of the university, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda to rebuild what the wicked have destroyed, and to keep pace with the modern era of urban and service development. After that, the Media Unit in the Department of Hostels Affairs showed documentaries about the conditions that the departments went through, including their destruction, reconstruction and return to life, as well as the extent of the university president’s interest in students of Hostel Departments and providing them with meals during the month of Ramadan and exam periods. Then they did a tour to see the administrative work in the divisions and units of the department to benefit from the administrative expertise and the method of electronically housing students and which is in force in our department by the Housing Division and the Issuance of Student Identities in a short period. They were accompanied by Director of the Hostels Affairs on a field tour to the housing complexes and they expressed their fascination with what the Hostels Departments of the University Of Anbar have achieved in exceptional circumstances, and their admiration for the administrative and service organization.

At the end of the visit, the Assistant Director of Hostels Departments of University of Samarra and the delegation accompanying him on this visit thanked the Director of Hostels Departments at our university and those in charge of them for the warm reception and cooperation with them.

The meeting and visit was attended by Dr. Anas Majid Shahouth, the assistant director for student affairs and officials of the divisions and units.
